Many people who have tried Lazarus dislike the way Shepard animates afterwards. For me, any minor animation issues were well worth the results I had with it.After giving Kate a pass through Lazarus I still needed to adjust colors and offset bones in gibbed.Scalar parameters for skin color & makeup It’s just one of those things you have to try for yourself and decide if you think the results are worth using or not. HED_SPwr_Scalar - This is skin glow, increasing this value will give your Shepard a more of a glow to the skin like in ME2. Gibbed Mass Effect 3 Skin Like InHED_Blush_Scalar - Blush Intensity. Vhakryie’s blog does a much better job explaining how Lazarus works than I ever could so if you’re interesting in the how I’d check here. The orginal BSN thread on Lazarus can be found here. Lazarus was the result of many people working together providing Shepards to test on and feedback. Problem was, I didn’t want a different more attractive Shepard that only vaguely resembled the character I’d been playing for the prior few years, I wanted Kate looking like she did in ME1 & ME2.A lot of people had good results tweaking imports in the CC to get the results they wanted, but I was not one of them.Mouth shape 7 is know to be problematic, I had to switch Kate to shape 1 which is almost identical to get it to work I discovered the project while it was in it’s final stage. Some notes on using Lazarus based on my experience with it. Luckily for me I was not alone in my frustration and there were many write ups available on working around the character creator.Reconstructing Kate was a 2 step process, after a pass through Lazarus I then made additional edits in gibbed. For the purpose of this walk through I have not using any texmods in the pictures in this post even though I do use a set of mods by Ele on BSN as one more unifying element across all 3 games.IMPORTANT! - While making changes, make sure you back up your headmorph at every step of the way so you can revert back a step if needed. Gibbed Mass Effect 3 Manual Changes InOften when making manual changes in gibbed you will get unintended consequences (see the last picture of this thread for an example of this.)Lazarus is a player made tool created by BSN’s Woodbyte, which uses ME2 LOD vertex information to create an adjusted headmorph for ME3. Here's the weapon list for SP that allows Gibbed (Save Editor) to give you all promotional DLC and Collectors Edition weapons and gear. Also, included the Heavy Weapons that were either cut or whatever.Legendary Edition Save Game Editor is out. For all the PC gamers: The Save Game Editor is out for the LE. Way more options than Gibbed from the past. For example fixing the Verner bug (again) or other decisions that do not get important in other games. It really upsets me that I can’t unite them, and I really can’t live with my (character’s) self if I sacrifice one of them.LINK: Trilogy Save Editor.Even though it’s been over a year since ME3 was released I’m still fielding frequent questions regarding the usage of both Lazarus and gibbed to fix imports so I thought I’d walk through the process I went through with Kate and consolidate all the informational links I referenced in one spot.Because this post is going to be fairly lengthy I am going to put the rest of it behind a “read more” tag.I know I wasn’t alone when I imported my first character into ME3 and shouted “wtf is that, that isn’t my Shepard” at the results. Both my Paragon and my Reputation points are maxed out. I saved the Admiral on Rannoch and I shut down the server, so these should both have gained me points. Tali was found Not Guilty and also was Exonerated (two boxes checked for her), and I destroyed the Heretics (because after playing through as a FemShep, I learned that this is the better choice). The second issue, I simply cannot continue my game. Firstly, even though Mordin was loyal and even though I’d clicked the box to “save Maelon’s research data”, Eve still perished. Two issues, the first of which I got over. I am a highly Paragon player, so everyone was loyal, everyone was alive. So I started the game, then went into the editor and fixed all the plot stuff from ME1 and ME2. I started a fresh game in ME3 because I always play as a FemShep and I wanted to try out a male Shepard without having to play the first two games. Hi – I am using the ME3 save editor, latest version (November).
